Picasso Class is the Early Years Foundation Stage class and is taught by Miss Bailey and supported by Mrs Doel, Miss Savage and Miss Rowley.
All children begin their school life with a variety of experiences and learning. In Picasso Class we will endeavour to build upon these experiences through a holistic approach to learning, ensuring that parents and careers work alongside the school to support the children’s learning and development.
The topics taught over the school year will reflect the children’s interests but we will begin with our topic ‘All About Me’ and 'Harvest'. We will be learning about our families and friends and why we are all unique and special. All topics will link to the seven Areas of Learning and Development and will be underpinned by the Characteristics of Effective Learning.
