Events and Activities
Arctic Class and Africa Class are going to be learning about the seaside. To begin their topic they watched a puppet show all about a litter-bug and the damage he was doing to the ocean. The children were enthralled by the show and now can't wait to start their topic to learn more about the seaside and the ocean.
Arctic Class Rocket Challenge
Parents and children in Arctic Class had great fun taking part in the Rocket Challenge. Their challenge was to build a rocket using junk modelling, card and newspaper. The children then launched their rockets and tested which design travelled the furthest.

Outside Gym Equipment
|We are really excited to be one of the first primary schools on the Island to have significant outside gym equipment on the school playground which includes a Tai Chi Spinner, a Double Air Walker, an Air Skiier and a Seated Leg Press, as well as a range of outdoor musical instruments including boomwhackers, pipe drums & musical stepping stones.|
|All this fantastic equipment was funded by a grant through the Big Lottery Fund. The outdoor gym is fully inclusive and will allow the children to be more active alongside their PE lessons. Irene Burkett from Brading Residents Action Group worked with us to secure a grant from the Big Lottery Fund. Irene said "it is so important for children to have good exercise to remain healthy and we are grateful to Awards for All England for giving Brading Primary School this wonderful facility for all the childre to enjoy.||
The Brading Residents Action Group are pleased to have been instrumental in getting the funding. It was great to see how happy the children were about it and looking forward to using it.
