Cuba Class
| Cuba Class will be taught by Miss Silk and will be supported by Miss Bayliss. We have a very exciting year coming up with learning adapted to meet all of our needs. We will be focusing on a range of exciting topics and will be reading lots of stories, exploring our outside area in different ways and singing lots of new songs. Our first topic will be ‘Knights VS Dragons’ and we will be becoming knights ready to rescue the dragon from the castle ourselves. We will then be focusing on ‘Space’ where we will be riding our rocket out of this world ready to explore. In the spring term, we will have the topics ‘animals’ and ‘minibeasts’ where we will be finding out all about different animals and insects’ homes. We will even be building our own homes for them! Finally, in the summer term we will be finding out all about ‘People who can help us’ and we will have some very exciting visitors coming to see us and teach us all about their jobs in the community and how they help us. We will then finish our year learning all about ‘under the sea’ where we will be dressing up as pirates and finding out what lives beneath the ocean. |
