FAMILY LIAISON OFFICER

Permanent contract, starting as soon as possible.

Salary: Hay Grade 8A-E (£26,669-£29,439 FTE);
Actual salary: £21,778-£24,040 per annum (pay award pending);
Hours: 35 hours per week, term time only with occasional additional ad hoc hours to be worked during holiday periods (negotiable)


Brading is a happy, friendly 2-11 school which lies at the heart of the community and is truly inclusive. We have an effective programme of engagement with parents, carers and families, and we are seeking to strengthen this provision through the appointment of a Family Liaison Officer. The successful candidate will perform a key role in developing and maintaining effective partnerships with parents/carers and in promoting learning and well-being within our school community. A primary function of this role is to support vulnerable children to overcome barriers to learning. Previous experience of similar work, engaging face to face with parents/carers and other agencies to deliver a
level of positive support to families would be an advantage.

LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT


Permanent contract starting 6th November 2023.
Salary: Hay Grade 3A; Actual salary: £13,595 per annum (pay award pending);
Hours: 27.5 per week, term time only


We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support the children
throughout the school which caters for children from age 2 to 11.
.We are looking for someone who loves working with children; is committed, self-motivated and
flexible; and can work collaboratively as part of a team.
Experience of, or interest in, working with children with Special Educational Needs is desirable.
